What type of photography do you do? 

​

Where will my photo shoot take place? 

The Studio is located in East Finchley, north London, Click here for driving instructions and public transport options. Alternatively, location shoots can be done at a north London location of your choice. Both Coldfall Woods and Alexandra Palace are nearby and offer lovely backgrounds for your photos.

 

What will I find in the studio?

The studio is fully equipped with the latest in lighting equipment and uncomplicated backgrounds to ensure you look your best in your photographs. There is also a garden at the studio for outdoor shots, which are included in all packages if desired.

 

What should I wear to my photo shoot?

​

Simple clothing without large patterns or writing produce the best results. Fitted, rather than baggy or tight, tops tend to be the most flattering.
Groups wearing similar colours also produce the most harmonious photograph.
Feel free to bring along changes of clothing, accessories or favourite toys (for the younger sitter) to create different moods for your various photographs.

Makeup, if worn, should be lightly applied and it's best to avoid shimmer and highlighter, which can look 'sweaty' under the lights. It's also best to avoid heavy or dark eyeliner, which can make the eyes appear smaller.
For subjects who wear glasses and wish to wear them in the photos, bringing along a pair of frames without lenses will avoid glare and lens distortion.

 

How do I see my photographs after the shoot?

A contact sheet from your photo shoot will be posted online for you to view at your leisure and to share with family and friends.

Can I get colour and black and white photographs?

​

Yes, examples of how your photographs will look in colour, black & white, cross processed and sepia toned can be included on your contact sheet. 

 

How do I order my photos?

​

After viewing your online contacts, you can order with our online order form or email your order to the studio. 

 

How will I receive my photos?

​

Digital images will be sent to you via Wetransfer.

 

How do I pay for my photos?

​

The studio accepts cash, bank transfer, Monzo payments and PayPal.

 

Who will take my photos?

​

All of your pictures will be taken by Lynn Hammarstrom-Craggs herself. Lynn  is a highly experienced, trained portrait photographer.
